Simferopol [UA] - Urban system in the middle of the Krim
J. Lehmann - 31.05.10
The five 2008 new AKSM-321 trolleybuses are numbered 4211-5 and are used on all Simferopol city routes operated by depot 2. These vehicles carry a white livery with light green relief.
Visitors in November 2008 have reported a number of route alterations: New route 1A (Tsentralni Rynok to Perevalnoye) is a Variation of route 1 (Voksal to Perevalnoye). The two routes appear to operate alternately from Perevalnoye, retaining some conductor Operation in peak hours. Route 9 has been replaced by route 2/9 which operates Airport - Voksal - Ploshchad Sovietskaya -Avtovoksal - Marino, and return. Clarifying an earlier report, route 7, which now operates to Mikrorayon Zagorodnoye, leaves its former alignment at the roundabout at Sergeyevka on Prospekt Pobedi, and not at its original Svoboda terminus, as previously implied. Route 11 was not seen in Operation. Route 13A operates during morning peak, and mid-day off-peak, hours only.
A Bogdan-T601.11, numbered 210, was tested on Simferopol city routes between 19.06.2009 and 11.07.2009.
