Perm [RU] - Former European trolleybuses disappered

The last articulated Graf & Stift trolleybuses, obtained second-hand from Salzburg, were scrapped during 2007. In 2000 of the 15 articulated trolleybuses received from Salzburg in 1997 only six remain (064-066,071,073,076). The last of the eight vehides obtained from Arnhem (056-63) was withdrawn in 2001. Four new VZTM-5284, received in 2002 are numbered 130-3, whilst the four Troiza ZIU-682 are 134-7. An old ZIU-682 which has been modernised in Ivanovo is numbered 138 whilst 139 is a new BT2-5276. At least further 22 ZIU-682 have been refurbished at Ivanovo, and are numbered 138/40-6, 242-55. Other recent additions to the fleet are 92-4,106 (VMZ-5298); 130-3 (VZTM-5284) ; 139/47, 256 (BTZ-5276-04). New acquisitions in January 2008 were one new Trolza-5275-05 and eight ZIU-682 refurbished by Ivanovo.
More then 130 trolleybuses served ten trolleybus routes.
