Napoli-Aversa [IT] - Again in electric mode
J. Lehmann - 28.07.08
With roadworks in Via Don Bosco almost completed, route M 13 was re-extended to Piazza Garibaldi from October. However, the overhead wiring had not been reinstated by April, and trolleybuses were required to use diesel mode over the affected section, tempting many drivers to continue in that mode to Piazza Garibaldi terminus. Because of a variety of factors, trolleybuses did notoperate on both routes M11 and M13 for much of the period from autumn 2007 to spring 2008. However, trolleybus Operation resumed on both routes from 18th April. Correcting
previous references, the length of route M13, including the 2001 extension to Teverola, is now estimated to be about 22 km.
