Wuyang Coal Mine (Shan'xi Province) [CN] - Interesting fleet
K. Budach - 18.02.13
In August, the fleet comprised five Beijing-built articulated
trolleybuses, of various ages, and four two-axle trolleybuses, being two BJD-WG120 of 2009, and two SK5102GP. Three of the articulated Beijing vehides are former prototypes: one BD-562 made by Sinotruk-Steyr of 2002, acquired in 2004, and two BJD-WG160, one made in 2004 and one in 2005, both acquired in 2006. The route,
which operates on an approximate 30-minute frequency, connects the Wuyang miners' village with the pit-head, passing through the
main gate ofthe coal-mine. Visitors should note that photography is not allowed on the section within the coal-mine compound, which
is supervised by security personnel.
